Residential care

At Care UK we tailor everything we do to your loved one’s needs and preferences so they can continue to enjoy a great lifestyle, whether that means supporting them to stay involved in the community or having their room laid out in a particular way. As well as organising superb activities, entertainment and outings, we serve up delicious and nutritious meals. We’ll take care of your loved one’s cleaning and laundry and our discreet care teams are on hand to help your loved one with personal care if they need it.

Caring for an older loved one at home can be physically and emotionally challenging. Making time for yourself is vital to help you to recharge. Our short term respite care gives you the chance to have a holiday or to take some time out. While short-term care, such as respite or convalescent care, offers individuals a temporary stay in one of our care homes, long-term or permanent care is available for those who require ongoing support with their personal care, health and wellbeing. 

We offer different types of long-term care depending on your loved one’s needs, including: 

Long-term care supports older people who live with progressive conditions like dementia, who have become frailer in their older age or who simply want to enjoy the comforts of life without the pressure of daily tasks like cooking, cleaning or laundry. 

Long-term care also provides residents with opportunities for socialising and making new friends, as well as taking part in activities in and outside of the care home.
