Elizabeth Lodge in Enfield, Greater London, is a welcoming, purpose-designed care home with beautiful landscaped gardens.

Our team provides personalised residential, nursing and respite care for older people, as well as dementia care and compassionate end of life care. Every resident has a care plan that’s tailored to their unique needs, interests and choices.

Throughout Elizabeth Lodge are comfortable lounges and dining areas. There’s also an activity room, a therapy room, a quiet room and a hair salon. Our large, secure gardens feature lawns and a patio area and we make full use of these with events and barbecues in the summer months.

We are proud to be accredited with the Gold Standards Framework Care Homes Programme. This demonstrates our skill and commitment to delivering high quality, person-centred care to residents at the end of their life.

My loved one is very old and fragile, and we're at the stage when anything could happen at any time. The team are wonderful with her - they always have been - and we're in regular contact. They know how important she is to me and they go out of their way to make sure I know how she is doing. Any concerns at all and they are on the phone right away.

The team are very aware of my loved one's limitations and they take excellent care of her. She is treated like a lady, always spotlessly clean and well presented, which has always been important to her. The activities have been great for her and she gets involved with everything, she is much more social and active since moving into the home, and she's loving it.

The whole place is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and it's such a lovely welcome you receive when you walk through the door. Everyone is so friendly and they all know me by name. They stop to ask how I'm doing and give me a quick update... it's a lovely place to visit. My loved one feels very much at home there.

Everyone has been fantastic from day one. The carers and nurses are excellent and the home is very well led by management. There is a focus on individual care, so the team builds personal relationships with the residents… they go above and beyond with the care they provide.

My loved one is very well cared for… the team has taken the time to get to know her, and they can see beyond her challenging behaviour. She is a person to them and they treat her with the respect she deserves. I have a good relationship with the team and they keep in touch with me regularly... communication is good; I know what's going on.
