Mills Meadow care home in Framlingham, Suffolk provides ‘outstanding’-rated permanent and short term residential and dementia care for older people. We also provide day support for older people from the Framlingham area in the Mills Meadow Club, next door to the home.

Whether your loved one joins us on a daily, short term or permanent basis, we get to know them as an individual and ensure that they enjoy tailored and meaningful experiences every day.

Our purpose-built care home is designed to give residents maximum space, choice and luxury. Each of the 60 bedrooms is spacious and has its own en-suite facilities plus quality furnishings and fittings.

The team is wonderful across the board, from the management to the carers to the cleaning team. Everyone I've met has been friendly and professional. They understand the importance of what they are doing. They genuinely want to make the day a bit brighter for the residents, and you feel that in the air when you walk in, it's a lovely atmosphere.

I'm very happy with the care my loved one receives. They go above and beyond for the residents, and nothing is too much trouble when we visit. The team is incredibly friendly and they make our loved one feel like he's part of a big family. They jokingly refer to the home as "his place" and they enjoy spending time chatting with him when they can. It's a lovely bunch and we're just happy to see him looking so relaxed and content.

Thank you to everyone for looking after me. I was cared for exceptionally by every member of all teams. It was an extra privilege for me to be able to 'live' in Mills Meadow and therefore to get to know all the staff so well.

It's a friendly, safe and homely place, and my loved one feels very happy there. She is surrounded by genuinely caring people, and I see this so clearly whenever I visit. They really understand who she is and they make her feel loved, secure and at home. I'm very happy with the care she receives.

They have all sorts going on in the home to keep residents engaged and entertained. They have entertainers and animals coming in, they have singsongs, they play games, painting, crafts, exercise classes… all kinds of things. They even have their own cinema and the residents can choose what films they want to watch. It's amazing to see how supportive the team is... they help everyone to get involved if they want to.
