The dedicated team at our care home in Windsor, Berkshire, deliver expert residential, nursing and specialist dementia care on a permanent and respite basis. We also offer compassionate end of life care.

Our home has a range of luxury amenities including its own café, hair and beauty salon and cinema room, ensuring residents continue to experience a fantastic lifestyle. Enjoy delicious food prepared by the chef led kitchen team in our private family dining facility, or take in the stunning views of Windsor castle from the home’s communal dining room or terrace balcony.

At Mountbatten Grange, we ensure that every element of your loved one's experience is tailored to their needs, interests and preferences. We work with you and your loved one to learn about their life and interests before creating care, lifestyle plans and menus that are personalised to their individual tastes.

My goal at work every day is to make sure every resident is happy and enjoying a stimulating, fulfilling life. I think the only way to achieve this is by making sure that each resident receives truly individualised care from people who’ve invested time in really getting to know them, their needs and their experiences.

Here are just some of the comments we’ve received from family, friends and residents at Mountbatten Grange care home.

All the team members are lovely and they are so supportive. Our loved one has dementia and she gets anxious and sometimes forgets where she is. The care team and the management are so experienced, they understand dementia and nothing seems to phase them. They help her to feel calm and settled and it's so lovely to hear how they speak with her. One of the activity coordinators has been really amazing. She's been visiting my loved one every other day and spending time with her. They read books and they do puzzles together. It's been so beneficial for her and it means the world to us knowing that she's with people who really care about her.

The manager of the home is readily available and if she's tied up elsewhere she makes sure to catch up with us. She runs a good ship. I would say she is firm but fair, and that is the kind of leadership you want. She is always open to suggestions, and one of her sayings is "there is always room for improvement". The whole team goes out of their way to look after my loved one in a very dignified way, and they have been nothing but kind to us.

The carers on my loved one's floor are mostly permanent team members, so they are able to build relationships with the residents and really come to understand their individual needs, preferences and temperaments. I visit regularly and I'm very happy with the standard of care and attention she is receiving.

They don’t miss a trick. They know exactly what my loved one gets up to and how she's feeling from day to day. Someone will always come over and let me know how she is getting on, I never have to ask. They have been brilliant with her, encouraging her to get involved with things and they rally around her if she's a bit upset or having a down day.
