At Mountfitchet House we enable residents to maintain the quality of living they enjoy and sometimes even improve residents physically. Our entire team have undergone in depth specialist training delivered by the University of Worcester to understand what it feels like to live with dementia. We are proud to offer namaste care to residents living with advanced dementia. The purpose of namaste care is to give comfort and pleasure through sensory stimulation. Our namaste sessions are run by trained carers and involve individual caring touch, such as a hand or foot massages, music therapy, themed sensory and gentle movement sessions, or simply reminiscing.
